This is a Full time  position for 2nd shift and it’s requires BSN

\n

Occupational Health RN Duties:

\n
    \n
  • Coordinate care among services and across the continuum for patients with complex, long-term health care that needs to be assigned to the clinic.
  • \n
  • Educate patient and family regarding benefits and risk factors for optimal bio-psycho-social functioning, community resources, wellness, and health promotion to enhance shared decision-making.
  • \n
  • Candidate must exercise professional nursing judgment to work with a variety of professionals, agencies, and systems.
  • \n
  • Administer fit testing, audio, vision testing, and preliminary exams.
  • \n
  • Process medical records in compliance with OSHA
  • \n
  • Wound Care
  • \n
  • Process reinstatement
  • \n
  • Conduct Medical Surveillance
  • \n
\n

Core Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Maintain appropriate logs, medical records, and other data required
  • \n
  • Obtains and maintains necessary equipment and supplies for the plant's Medical Department
  • \n
  • Provides first aid, treatment, follow-up, and medication for employee illness an injury as authorized by the plant Physician
  • \n
  • Performs or requests testing of employees as required
  • \n
  • Administers immunizations as directed by the plan Physician
  • \n
  • Ensures that a complete and confidential medical record is maintained on each employee
  • \n
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements\n

· BSN Required. Current state license to practice. 

\n

· Current BLS certification. 

\n

· A minimum of three years of experience in occupational health, emergency room, critical care or urgent care; 5 years of experience preferred. 

\n

· Excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of emergency nursing care to effectively work autonomously. 

\n

· Maintain individual competence in occupational health nursing practice, recognizing and accepting responsibility for individual    judgments and actions, while complying with appropriate laws and regulations that impact the delivery of occupational health services. 

\n

· Must have an excellent understanding of OSHA recordkeeping criteria. 

\n

· Collaborate with Corporate Medical Operations. 

\n

· Collaborate with the provider. 

\n

· Collaborate with other stakeholders at the plant. 

\n

· Provide chart audits. 

\n

· Must be willing to train in the use of Cority if they are not already proficient. 

\n

· Must be trained as a Breath Alcohol Technician.
