Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $23/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday Start Time: 5:00 AM - Until deliveries are completed Interview: Required Driving: Approximately 80% of the workday Vehicle: 26-ft automatic flatbed with liftgate Passengers: None Dress Code & PPE Jeans Safety boots required Safety shirt and/or vest provided Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-ft automatic flatbed delivery truck. Transport electrical equipment from the warehouse to assigned customer locations. Load and unload electrical equipment and materials. Safely handle materials weighing up to 60 lbs. Use a dolly, hand truck, pallet jack, or other equipment as needed. Pick up loads and organize goods in a safe and logical manner according to the assigned route. Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures or warehouse scans when required. Follow predetermined delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries. Assist with mapping and planning efficient delivery routes. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or other issues. Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Report maintenance issues or vehicle deficiencies to management. Keep the assigned vehicle clean and organized. Check weather and road conditions before departing. Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs. Track and report working hours. Follow all company policies and procedures. Comply with applicable DOT regulations and traffic laws. Operate the vehicle safely based on weather and road conditions. Make safety a priority at all times. Requirements Valid Non-CDL driver's license required. Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience; 3-5 years preferred. Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements. Clean driving record with no moving violations. Must be able to safely operate and maneuver a large delivery vehicle. Experience driving larger vehicles is strongly preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Must be alert, focused, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and stay on schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to load and unload materials weighing up to 60 lbs. Ability to follow delivery routes and maintain accurate records. Must be dependable and safety-conscious. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 60 lbs. Frequent loading and unloading of electrical equipment. Ability to safely operate delivery equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. No regular stair climbing is required.
